The retreat starts with Angie guiding you through a nourishing yoga class. The focus will be on stretching and balance of both the body and the mind, using breath work to allow you to move deeper into the poses and connect body, mind and breath.

The Sauna - widely used in wellness and rehabilitation, has solid scientific backing for its physiological and psychological benefits. Improving health, mental wellbeing, reducing stress and leaving you with an overall feeling of relaxation and happiness. Hot and cold therapy adds another dimension to this experience, the (optional) Cold Plunge will energise and add a contrast and is highly recommended! Please see below for more information.

The retreat ends with Charlotte restoring you with a Reiki Infused Crystal Sound Bath immersing you in a deeply restorative experience that blends the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls with the powerful yet gentle energy of Reiki. This unique sound bath is designed to release energy that no longer serves you, realign your chakras and bring your mind, body and spirit into a state of flow and harmony. The science of hot and cold therapy……Saunas, in particular, have been linked to improved cardiovascular health, reduced blood pressure, and enhanced immune function through increased production of white blood cells. Regular sauna use has also been associated with reduced stress and better mood, likely due to endorphin release and relaxation of the nervous system. Cold Therapy (cold plunge): Cold exposure triggers vasoconstriction, reducing inflammation and swelling. It can also stimulate the production of norepinephrine, which has been linked to improved focus and mood. Regular cold immersion has been shown to enhance resilience to stress, support muscle recovery, and boost metabolism by activating brown fat, which burns calories to generate heat. Combined Benefits: Alternating hot and cold therapy may enhance circulation by promoting rapid vasodilation and vasoconstriction cycles. This boosts oxygen delivery to tissues and accelerates waste removal. The combination is thought to improve recovery, reduce soreness, and support mental well-being.

**Please ensure you seek medical advice if you have never experienced either a sauna or cold plunge previously or if you have any health conditions that may be negatively affected by either.

Logistics:

If you have your own yoga mat please bring this with you, (there will be a few spares available) and please wear clothing that you can move in freely

Please bring your swimsuit, towel and warm comfortable clothing to change into after your sauna experience.

Please also make sure you have a drink with you for the end of the experience.

Parking is available on the drive, or on the verge next to the tarmac road, please not on the track outhside the entrance to the property.

Prices are per person with a minimum number of guests required. A full refund will be given if the event does not go ahead.
